The sun is out and the temperature is heating up. We all know what that means...basking in the sun! Whether it is by a pool, the ocean, the lake, the river, or where ever the summer sun takes you. For me tunes are a must have, I can't lay still unless I have music to occupy my mind. That is why I thought I'd provide you with the first set of tanning tunes!!! This round there will be ten. So without further ado (and in no particular order) I present the ten tanning tunes...

SeneGence...Color My Lips and Keep It That Way

Saturday I went to the What Women Want Expo in my city, and I was left wanting! There were lots of booths with all sorts of things you can eat and buy. One of my favorite booths was the one selling taser guns. I think every girl should eventually invest in one of those precious gadgets. However, that was not my absolute favorite booth. That award goes to the SeneGence booth. Every time I passed the SeneGence area it was crowded with women trying on lip color, the occational eye shadow, and other types of make-up. Naturally this buzz sparked my curiosity. With only a few minutes remaining in the expo I seized the oppertunity to see what SeneGence is all about. It is make up that is supposed to last all day, no matter what you do. Eat, swim, sleep, dance, or whatever the day holds it will stay on and look fresh. Let me tell you I was not disapointed! I was going to a concert later that night so I chose to apply a pinky color that would be funky and fun. Before the show I went to In and Out to grab some food. After two cheese burgers, and drinking a shake through a straw I went to the bath room to check out the lip situation. Guess what I found...it was PERFECT! So I took off for the show, where I talked and smiled to plenty of cute boys, and rocked to some awesome bands. When I finally headed for home I checked my lips in the rear view mirror....still PERFECT! This all took place in about a 8 hour period, I couldn't believe SeneGence had lasted me so long, and managed to look amazing the whole time! I don't know about you, but I'm about to stock up on my SeneGence lip colors!!!

Coming Home for the Summer

After living away at college the past year I can't say I was thrilled to move back in with my parents, but if thats the the path life gives me what can you do. I don't think my brothers are too happy to have me back though, at least where the bathroom is concerned. They think I already moved in and set up my domain by claiming a sink area. What they don't know about is all the extra beauty supplies still in boxes lying on the floor of my room. I may be sleeping in my old bed in my old room, but I still haven't officially "moved in" and it has almost been a week. My mother is convinced it is because I really don't want to be back home (what would give her that idea? Certainly not the empty closet and dresser.). No, what I am really doing is holding out until the unfinished corner of the basement becomes livable, so I can claim it as my own. That way I only have to move out of all my Rubbermaid bins once. It will make things much more simple...see mom I have a plan.
